How to treat period pain.

Pulsatilla 200 for periods

Homeopathy has a lot of offer in terms of homeopathic remedies for menstrual cramps. Pulsatilla is one of the most often indicated remedies for this problem.

Menstrual cramps are the most common complaint for women. This pain is caused by muscle contractions and cramps that inhibit blood flow to the lining of the uterus.

Some women may also suffer from nausea or diarrhoea with menstrual pain and feel tired or irritable with it.

Most women feel that period pain is something that they have to deal with and become resigned to suffer with it monthly and end up living on painkillers for a few days of the month.

If you have been taking the pill to regulate your cycle or it has been prescribed for period pains but it has not helped or it has created new problems, have a look at ways to naturally detox with homeopathic remedies and balance your cycle.

Homeopathic remedies are safe and natural and work wonders for period pain.

Below are some which are frequently indicated for period pain.

Usually the remedies work well in 30 or 200c and the repetition of the remedies or dosing depends on the intensity of the symptoms.

Start with 30c and if it helps but does not hold move on to 200c.

What about pain that starts a few hours the after the period, increases as the flow increases, coupled with loose stools. Sometimes accompanied with nausea but rarely vomiting. Little better with applying heat. Only ibuprofen can help ,not paracetamol. Not much emotional impact
Before period increased appetite and insomnia, pain in breasts, pimples.

Hello Cristina,

Thank you for expanding the options for cramps.

Do you follow the Banerji approach with the remedies you highlighted that are not apart of their protocol? I understand how to use the Banerji protocols for acute pms pain.
