Homeopathic remedies for plantar fasciitis. How Rhus tox for plantar fasciitis can be helpful as part of a combination for the Banerji protocol.



​Plantar fasciitis
is the most common cause of heel pain
.

The plantar fascia is the tissue under the foot that forms the arch and when it becomes inflamed or irritated can lead to this painful condition.

It may also occur in individuals who do a lot of standing, walking or sporting activities, usually as a result of overuse. 

Symptoms usually start gradually with pain on the heel that may radiate forwards into the foot. The pain is usually worse on waking and improves with movement of the foot but it usually worsens after standing for very long or after exercising.

Plantar fasciitis can take long to heal and it may involve the use of several therapies with conventional treatment.

​My partner had suffered with plantar fasciitis for quite a long time being a sports person. He did a lot of exercises, cold hot compress, physio, using a cast on the leg to sleep....even taking several homeopathic remedies based on a more classical approach.

Homeopathy was what helped him to get rid of it but it took nearly a year!

The second time it happened after playing football we started on the remedies straight away but the progress was very slow.

​At that point, I had meet Dr Pasantra Banerji in London and I became fascinated with his results. So on coming home, I switch to the Banerji Protocol for plantar fasciitis.

​ THE RESULT WAS AMAZING!!! In about a week, the pain was totally gone although he felt relief from the first day.

For Plantar Fasciitis
  • Symphytum 200 twice a day+ Rhus-tox 30 twice a day
 
Take both remedies together daily, twice per day until the pain is gone.

I would like to ask you- Could it be possible that Plantar Fasciitis symptoms get worse BEFORE they improve?

I have been on my 10th day of doing diligently this protocol. I have been taking Symphytum officinale 200c and Rhus toxicodendron 30c twice a day, 30 minutes away from foods and drinks. I have noticed increased pain on both feet, which by the way, I was only diagnosed with PF on my right foot. Now I feel discomfort on both. :( Yesterday, I had pain on my right foot to the point of not being able to walk properly. I was able to walk but clearly not well. I was kind of limping. It lasted only in the morning. But the discomfort/pain was throughout the day- on and off.

Could you please kindly share your opinion/thoughts?

I can not comment on individual cases I am afraid. But if you feel that the protocol is not helping, just stop taking it. No, it does not have to get worse to get better! you may need another remedies or a deeper treatment.

On a happy note, I remembering reading Sulphur 30c helped people with Plantar Fasciitis. I decided to give it a try. It's been like a miracle! Next day, for the first time in several months, when my feet were touching the floor..felt "normal", felt "healthy". I am not cured for sure 100%. But I can feel the difference, thank God! I will keep on doing my regular protocol you suggested PLUS Sulphur 30c at bedtime, at least 30 minutes away from drinks and foods. I still would like to give this protocol the opportunity to heal my feet. I don't know if I have tried it enough for me to be able to say "It doesn't work". Maybe my increased discomfort, at some point, was just a coincidence? Maybe I did a different physical behavior other than the typical? Don't know. I'll try to be even more, aware of my actions/feelings.
